First of all let’s give a definition. A hogtie position is a classic bondage position that joins wrists and ankles of the bottom partner. In most cases - behind their back. A front variant is used as a safer and easier option.
While this position is common and easy one should remember safety rules during the play:
- Make sure that the bottom partner can breath easily in any position as this practice is associated with positional asphyxia- Check if restraints are not too tight and don’t block blood circulation- Never leave a tied person unattended, always check with the bottom partner for skin color change, pain or numbness- Always have a safe word
